At the first European Congress on Animal Reproduction held in Nantes, France, on September 21-23, 2023, a presentation was held showing some potentially very exciting research done with a Vitafloor© Whole Body Vibration unit. The researchers documented the following observations:
An observant Friesian stud owner noticed a striking sudden reduction in excess seminal plasma in a very talented Grand Prix Friesian stallion with a previously challenging stud performance. This tripled sperm concentration improvement occurred within 2 weeks of him having started his daily Vitafloor Whole Body Vibration program.
At the same facility, another Grand Prix Friesian stallion (with a good stud performance and normal seminal plasma volume), went through exactly the same program, and did not show any change at all.
This immediately aroused the curiosity of the research team as the Friesian Studbook has a closed breed policy and stallion fertility issues are a very high priority.
This might well be the very first report on Whole Body Vibration influencing equine sperm quality and the start of more fertility research to come!
