Prevention and Protection

In our Tendon Tissue Assessment studies, we employ Ultrasound Tissue Characterization (UTC) technology. The UTC scanner can differentiate between various fiber types within the tendon, allowing us to assess the proportions of healthy aligned fibers, scar tissue extent, lesion severity, and the impact of current exercise levels on the tendon—all in a single scan.

The TendonPro DSS is a supportive device that optimizes recovery and healing of flexor tendons and the suspensory ligament by preventing overextension during exercise. This gives your horse a better chance of recovery and reduces the likelihood of re-injury.
